Home price trends in the U.S. from Q4 2007 to Q4 2008 show the large drops in homes prices to be specifc to particular states. There were only four states with double digit home price declines from one year ago values. Those were Nevada with a -21.8% drop in home values, California -20.5%, Florida -19.5%, and Arizona at -15.2%. The strongest states in the nation during that same period were led by North Dakota with +3.4% price increases, South Dakota +2.8%, and Texas with +2.1%.
